SEC Issues Guidance on Implementation of Internal Control Report Requirements

The SEC released today a statement for the SEC staff on management’s report on internal control over financial reporting in accordance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

PCAOB Publishes Additional Guidance to Auditors on How to Implement Auditing Standard No. 2

In lockstep with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board today published additional guidance to auditor on how to cost-effectively implement Auditing Standard No. 2, “An Audit of Internal Control over Financial Reporting Performed in Conjunction with an Audit of Financial Statements.” The guidance consists of two components:

	PCOAB Proposes Standard on Reporting on the Elimination of A Material Weakness
	SEC Extends Section 404 Compliance Date for Non-Accelerated Filers and Foreign Filers
