NICHOLAS A. BENVENUTO, JR.
Managing Director for Protiviti, Inc.
Nicholas A. Benvenuto, Jr. is a Managing Director of Protiviti, Inc. in the Technology Risk Consulting division, based in New York. Mr. Benvenuto is a member of Protiviti’s Technology Risk Steering Committee, responsible for leadership and direction in technology risk services. He provides various technology risk consulting services including project risk management, business continuity management, infrastructure resource management, information security and privacy, internal audit technology and application management and controls.
Mr. Benvenuto has over 20 years of experience in technology, project management, internal and external technology auditing, and internal controls focused specifically in the capital markets, banking, asset management and financial products industries. While at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Benvenuto led the Technology Risk Consulting practice in financial services for North America and was its Global Coordinator.
In addition to his contributions on client engagements, Mr. Benvenuto has contributed to the thought leadership on managing risks related to electronic financial services through his published writings and public speeches. He has also given presentations on a wide variety of technology related and technology auditing topics.
Mr. Benvenuto earned his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University. He is a certified information systems auditor, a certified data processor, a certified systems professional, and a Series 7 registered representative.
