DOUGLAS N. CURRAULT II

Douglas N. Currault II is a partner and member of the Corporate and Securities Section of the law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre, LLP, based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Currault’s practice focuses on SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate finance. He has more than 12 years of experience handling corporate and securities law matters for public and private companies. Since 1996, Mr. Currault has dedicated most of his professional time to a group of public companies with whom Jones Walker has a full service legal partnering relationship. Mr. Currault works extensively with the financial reporting, investor relations and legal groups, and oversees the corporate secretarial function for each public company, which entails attending all board and committee meetings, preparing the minutes of the meetings, preparing proxy statements, assisting in preparing all SEC reports and financial press releases, addressing executive compensation issues, and coordinating compliance with each client’s insider trading policy.
Mr. Currault earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University and his law degree from Tulane University. He is admitted to the bar of Louisiana. He is also a certified public accountant.
