Carl C. Hanemann is a partner and member of the Corporate and Securities Section of the law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre, LLP, based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Hanemann concentrates his practice in the areas of federal and state securities laws, corporation finance, organization of businesses, business acquisitions and dispositions, and shareholder and partner relationships. He is the editor of Recent Developments in Corporate and Business Law for the Louisiana State Bar Association Recent Developments Manual. He is also the principal draftsman of the 1985 recodification of Louisiana Securities Law.
Mr. Hanemann earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and his law degree from Harvard University. He is admitted to the bar of Louisiana.
