William J. Meurer
Former Managing Partner, Arthur Andersen LLP
William J. Meurer is former Managing Partner for both the overall operations in Central Florida and the Florida Audit and Business Advisory Services sector of Arthur Andersen LLP. During his 35-year career with the firm, Mr. Meurer developed expertise in several industries, including high technology, financial services, real estate, retailing/distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, professional services, and cable television. Currently, Mr. Meurer is a financial consultant and serves on several corporate boards and committees. He serves on the board of directors and as chairman of the audit and special litigation committees of Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated. Mr. Meurer also serves on the boards of trustees and audit committees of Heritage Family of Funds and St. Joseph’s Baptist Health Care, where he also serves on the long-range planning and compensation committees and as chairman of the finance committee. He also serves on the finance committee of United Way in the Tampa Bay area. Mr. Meurer earned his undergraduate degree from Regis University. He is a certified public accountant, licensed in Florida.
